RSI Chosen by Panhandle ISD for Wireless Network Implementation

Responsive Services International Corp. was selected today by the Panhandle ISD to implement a new wireless network utilizing the Ruckus Wireless solution in all of its schools and administrative/support facilities. RSI, Inc. was recognized by the district as the best positioned firm to handle this important project. Panhandle is planning to integrate more technology into the hands of its staff and students but needed to ensure a strong wireless network foundation was established first so access to information would not be hindered or restricted. The district will be prepared to handle both a BYOD and/or 1:1 initiative with this new system in place. RSI, Inc. is proud to be the partner chosen to help Panhandle ISD in this important endeavor.

Responsive Services Chosen for Wireless Upgrade at Clovis Municipal Schools

Responsive Services International Corp. is proud to once again be working with the Clovis Municipal Schools in helping them upgrade their wireless network to Ruckus Wireless. This new wireless equipment will be deployed first in their new middle school – W.D. Gattis Middle School (opening for students Fall of 2013), as well as utilizing access points in other facilities where their coverage is weak or insufficient. Clovis had tested the Ruckus equipment in their buildings prior to awarding RSI, Inc. the project and was impressed with the strength, reach, throughput, and overall quality of the signal of the access point compared to their previous product. They stated, “We were amazed at the density these devices could handle as we replaced three of our current devices in one area with only one Ruckus AP and it still had room to handle more clients.” RSI, Inc. is a proud provider of Ruckus Wireless products and we strongly believe this is the best enterprise wireless system on the market today.

Responsive Services will be the sponsor for the TCEA Region 16 iPad Jamboree on June 13th in Amarillo, Texas. We are proud to be members of TCEA and as such are delighted to be able to sponsor this unique event focusing on iPad use in schools in the Region 16 area, which covers much of the Texas Panhandle. As we integrate more and more technology into education, these types of events help those educators whose primary job it is to use these tools to positively affect and improve the educational experience and learning of our youth. We applaud you for those efforts!

RSI awarded Wireless Upgrade Project with Floydada ISD

On March 18th, RSI was awarded the contract to completely upgrade the wireless network throughout Floydada ISD, including all campuses as well as support and administration facilities. RSI, Inc. is very excited to partner with Floydada ISD on this important project and we are looking forward to helping them achieve the high speed and reliable wireless connectivity they need to truly transform the learning environments for their students. Our solution will allow them to incorporate BYOD and 1:1 initiatives and integrates completely with their existing goals of getting each student in every grade with a mobile device.

RSI Attending Region XI Education Service Center Technology Vendor Fair on Friday, April 12th

Responsive Services International is excited about attending our first Technology Vendor Fair hosted by the Region XI Education Service Center on Friday, April 12th in Ft. Worth at the offices of the Region XI ESC. We are a Silver sponsor of the event and will be hosting a 45 minute breakout session with our corporate partners Ruckus Wireless on the topic of “Wireless for Schools – Everything you need to know about BYOD and 1:1.” We will go in depth on wireless access including deployment for 1:1 and BYOD/T as well as access controls, securing the wireless network, outdoor wireless PTP bridges, and much more! We look forward to seeing all the school representatives from the 77 districts served by the Region XI ESC and discussing how we can help them with all of their technology needs.
